Prayer life
|
As a church community we want to encourage one another to pray at all times!
As well as the Sunday services, there are quiet services of prayer every
Monday to Thursday:
at 9 a.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays and 12.30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
For details, see the Church Services.
We also run regular retreats which offer a quiet time and space for prayer, away from the pressures and demands of everyday life.    (see Adult Groups).

Prayer Connection
One of the ways in which the church families of Fulbourn and The Wilbrahams can show care both for one another and for their surrounding communities is to offer prayer and practical support. To facilitate this, a “Prayer Connection” is now in action. For those who would like prayer support (e.g. during illness or for a particular situation), or need help of a practical nature (such as transport to the doctor’s surgery or help with shopping), contact numbers of Pastoral Care team members in each Parish are available in the church weekly sheets, editions of 'The Mill' and in “Twelve”.
Prayer requests are passed to Sue Potts, Mission and Pastoral Care Co-ordinator, and e-mailed to a small group who are committed to pray on a regular basis. Prayer needs are reviewed and updated each week. There is also a box in “Twelve” in which you can “post” prayer needs.
A pool of willing volunteers is also available to give practical support where necessary.
Prayer net
Come and see the new prayer net at St Nicholas' Church in Great Wilbraham, and spend a few moments praying for those close to your heart as you tie a piece of wool on to our prayer net. | |
