The wider church
|
In Fulbourn and the Wilbrahams we try to serve the wider church in seven key ways:
| • | By training up ordinands from the Cambridge Theological Federation for the wider church |
| • | By supporting deanery projects such as the current Deanery Youth and Children’s Worker Project |
| • | Through our Rector’s involvement in the General Synod, Liturgical Commission and Diocesan councils |
| • | Through our Licensed Lay Minister’s involvement in the Diocesan ‘Readers' Board |
| • | Through our financial support of a number of charities (see below)) |
| • | Through our support of our local United Reformed Church and Baptist churches (this support is mutual) |
| • | Through the encouragement of church member’s involvement in a number of different organisations |
